Monday’s Manna

1 Chronicles 5:18-20 

The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war. 

And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.

 And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated of them; because they put their trust in him.

 

  • The Lord is my helper.
  • He is my helper when I cry to him in my battles.
  • He is my helper when I put my trust in Him
  • Trusting in Him causes Him to be entreated of me!  Praise the Lord!  Oh, for grace to trust Him more.

Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus

Just to take Him at His Word

Just to rest upon His promise

Just to know thus saith the Lord

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him

How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er

Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus

Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

  • He is the same, yesterday, today, forever.  He’ll do the same for me that He did for the Israelites.

1 Kings 8:61  Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. How much do we give?
