A Home Is A House Full Of Love

We were able to attend a Family Reunion/Graduation/birthday party this past weekend. My husband's youngest brother graduated from law school. We also celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday. We were thankful that many of the family was able to attend. By the end of this year, there should be 80 grand and great children. What a blessing!

What a blessed Mother's Day! Dinner, cards, love notes, flowers from my children. Children gathered round talking about the Lord! One son in Brazil with his family serving as a missionary! A wonderful mom, grandmom and grandmom in law now in heaven who I will see again someday - godly ladies who influenced my life and taught me to love God with all my heart! A wonderful godly mom in law who is unashamed of our Lord and who taught us to pray! Godly mothers of my grandchildren - one daughter and three daughter in laws! Eleven grandchildren almost twelve! What more could a mother ask for!

A mother whose children had all become Christians was asked what the secret of her success had been.  She replied, "When I wash my children in the morning, I prayed that they might be cleansed in the fountain of the Savior's mercy.  When I dressed them, I prayed that they might be clothed in Christ's righteousness.  When I fed them, I prayed that they might be filled with Heaven's manna.  When I sent them to school, I prayed that they might learn lessons from the Master teacher.  And when I put them to bed, I prayed that they might be enfolded in the Savior's arms."
