Glue Dots - What a great little item for any project

Twitter Moms is running another good contest.

$2,000 in Prizes Up for Grabs! Share your Glue Dots Summer Bonding Project for a Chance to Win

I had never heard of glue dots so was very excited to sign up for my free sample.   I really did not expect to get such a good sample in the mail.  This is what I recieved:

I'm not the world's craftiest person, but there are some household projects that these glue dots have worked great for.

First of all, I had a skirt that I needed to wear, but alas, the hem was coming out and I did not have time to fix it.  Ah!  Glue Dots!  Why not try it?  I laid out the skirt, got the glue dots that said they would work on fabric and voila!  They have held my hem in nicely.  What a quick easy way and I did not have to take time to thread a needle. Yeah!

Then for Father's Day,  my daughter gave a cute picture frame of the grand kids to their grandpa.  I found the perfect place for it, but it needed to fit a little better so as not to fall down.  How could I hold it in place so it would not crash to the ground and break.  Idea!!!   Why not try glue dots for this?  It worked great!

The picture is held in place,  will not slip, and if I ever want to move it, the glue dots will come off without ruining anything.

On my frig is my "honey do" list.  It is a magnetic dry erase board.  However,  I really needed to attach a  dry erase marker so that I was not looking every where for one when I need to add to the list.  So I decided to try glue dots for this.  I attached the cap of the marker to the board and then snapped in the marker.  It holds great and now my marker is right at hand where I need it.

I am looking forward to using this great little dots more as I find different projects around the house that need to be done or that I want to do.

50 Reasons Why I Love the Lord

I recently had a birthday, but more important is my spiritual birthday.  I am so thankful to be born again. This is my 50th year in the Lord!  To think that the Lord saved me and keeps me is beyond my comprehension!  I am so filled with awe and gratitude to my Lord!  Since this is my 50th year to be saved,  I wrote down 50 reasons why I love Him.  It was not a hard task.  There are so many reasons to love the Lord.  I cannot think of one reason why the Lord would want to love me, but I am so thankful that He does.  He only is our HOPE. I have been so overwhelmed with the Lord's love for me that I felt like I needed to share it with others.  If you don't know the Lord, please don't delay.  You will never regret His love for you. He first loved me. He sent His only begotten son to die in my place. He forgives all my sin He saved me by His shed blood He has never left nor forsaken me. He is ever merciful and His mercies are new every morning. He gives grace

Wednesday’s Wisdom

1 Kings 8:61  Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. How much do we give? Psalms 96:8-9 “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name:” (Give Praise and worship) “bring an offering, and come into his courts.” (Give personal wealth) “O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.” (Give practical witness) “ God wants our praise.  The world needs our practical witness of a holy life.  and we need to give our personal wealth.  God does not need our gifts-but we need to give.  The greatest gift we can give is to give our lives to His service. ~The above is from My Morning Manna, vol. 3, p. 226, by Ed Nelson
