A Home Is A House Full Of Love

Just some fun stuff to pass along. This was sent to me in an e-mail. Enjoy! Birthing order: Funny; however, oh so true! BIRTH ORDER OF CHILDREN 1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy. 2nd baby: You wear you r regular clothes for as long as possible. 3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes. ********************************* Preparing for the Birth: 1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously. 2nd baby: You don't bother because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing. 3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your eighth month. ********************************* The Layette: 1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau. 2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with the darkest stains. 3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they? ********************************* Worries

We were privileged to go to VA with Stephen, Lauren, and their girls, Audrey and Adalyn this past weekend.  We had a very enjoyable time.  How blessed we are to be able to spend time with our family!

“My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, [and] apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, [and] liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as [for] hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.” (Pr 2:1-5) What better treasure is there than the Word of God.   How amazing to think that the Word of God is God with us!   May we as parents and grandparents, spend time daily finding the many treasures in the Word of God and may we endeavor to share them with our family, friends, and neighbors!
