Some Things do not have an End

I love my family.  There are the only thing on earth you can take with you to eternity.  How important to share the gospel with all of them!  It is exciting to see my grand children, one by one come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.  I look forward to the day when each one of them has been saved through the blood of Jesus Christ and I look forward to that great reunion in heaven.  You can be 100% sure!

I Love Grandma a Whole Bunch

Teaching music to a couple of my grand children is fun, a privilege, and sometimes a challenge.  The other day, my grandson, Kade,  came to his lesson and brought me a whole bunch of notes.  They all said the same thing - "Thank You for being my teacher."   His mom said,  why don't you just give her one note and save another for later.  His reply - But I love Grandma a Whole Bunch!  How precious!  Grand children sure now how to win your heart!

My Memory File

Since my husband and I get so many notes, cards, etc, from all my grand kids,  I finally decided to start a memory file.  Instead of trying to save every little paper, I have begun taking pictures of all the little treasures that each grand child has given us.  This is my first go around.  I have lots of other memories already tucked away and just decided to start with the most recent of my treasures.  True, this is mostly for myself, but if you are interested, scan through the pictures and see for yourself all the treasure that come from having a house full of love.  God is so good to me!

Fun Day with Audrey and Adalyn

Grandpa and Grandma had such a good day with Audrey and Adalyn today.  We ate out at Hallelujah Acres, then went to the Schiele Museum in Gastonia.  After that, a trip to the Mighty Dollar so the girls could get some prizes.  This free photo slideshow customized with Smilebox

A Special Day with my Grand daughter

Our oldest granddaughter, Kylie, had her 11th birthday this week! We had a special day together. We spent a few hours together - just the two of us. We had such a good time! Kylie chose a place to eat (Pizza Inn) and after we got filled up there we did a little shopping and I let Kylie pick out some things she would like for her birthday. She is so easy to please and was most grateful! We enjoyed Pizza Inn, The Mighty Dollar, Burkes, Claires, and the Dollar Tree. The best part was just being together. I love all our grand kids and am thankful that Kylie knows the Lord Jesus as her Savior. I look forward to the day when all of our grand kids are saved. Times here together are precious, but how much more precious that we can spend all eternity together! Below is a video clip of Kylie at Pizza Inn. Below are some more picture of Kylie and myself.  It was a rainy, cold day in May :), but we still had fun.

Having a Great Granny is GREAT!

My mother-in-law has been with us for a couple of days.  Not only is she a blessing as a mother-in-law, but she has been a great blessing to my children as their granny and now to my grand children as their great granny.  How many children really get to interact with their great grandmother?  Including grand children and great grand children she has over 80.  We lose count after a while. Recently she was in an accident and we thought she would be in a wheelchair for a year, but our God does miracles!  It is a miracle to see her walking and getting around on her own. It was a joy seeing her hold her newest great grand son and our newest grand son, Caleb.  That in itself is a miracle as we wondered for a while if Caleb would be with us.  He was born with underdeveloped lungs and was in the NICU for a while.  God answered many prayers and allowed him to come home earlier than expected. Here is a picture of Caleb. I don’t have a picture of Granny ...
