How blessed we were to be able to take a vacation this past week. We headed for Roan Mountain, TN which is on the border of North Carolina. It is a beautiful place. I have posted pictures here . Eventually I will get them all posted. It never ceases to amaze me when I see the beauty of God's creation. While hiking I love to just stop and look around and take it all in! We actually went several places . They included: Our Stay at Fair Haven Ministries Roaring Falls on Hwy 80, NC Carolina Hemlocks on Hwy 80, NC Spruce Pine, NC Toms Creeks Falls Bakersville, NC Roan Mountain, TN Carvers Gap in Roan Mountain The Rhododendron Gardens in Roan Mountain Roan Bluff in Roan Mountain Roan Mountain State Park Blue Hole Falls Wautauga Lake Backroads of NC and TN What a wonderful relaxing time! However, we did have to leave the beauty of the mountains and travel to Atlanta, GA for my brother's 60th birthday party! That is so hard to believe. Life really is a vapor. H
