Psalms 1:1-6 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
What a wonderful way to start out the new year, by living Psalm 1!

Get Smart
There's a right way, There's a wrong way,
There's a way that seems the right way,
but it's the wrong way and it will lead your far from God
Travel God's way, it's the best way,
it's the only tried and true way,
and it will lead to life eternal some glad day.
Get smart, take heart, trust God and START!
Travel God's way, it's the best way,
it's the only tried and true way,
And it will lead to life eternal one glad day!
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
THANKSGIVING:
We ended the year 2009 with all the kids coming for supper. It was a little wild with everyone here, but we sure enjoyed having them all. We were not exactly planning to stay up till mid night, but it just sort of happend.
Jeremy and Esther received their visas in the mail today. They are ready to go. Their plans are to leave on March 3, 2010.
WORTH QUOTING:
What a wonderful way to start out the new year, by living Psalm 1!
Thoughts and Meditations!
- May the new year find us delighting more and more in the Word of God and meditating on it.
- Obedience to this Psalm will make our way prosperous
- God knows "my way" - it is:
- the right way
- it leads to life eternal
- it is the path of life
- God teaches sinners (me) in the way Ps. 18: 32
- Teach me thy way O Lord... Ps. 27:1
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go Ps. 32:8
- Cause me to hear they loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee: Ps. 143:8
- God has a perfect way for each of us who are willing to yield ourselves to Him. May we hear His loving and kind voice directing us. May we trust in Him to show us the way we should walk each and every day. May we daily lift up our soul to Him!

THANKSGIVING:
- Freedom, safety, and good health through the year 2009
- A new year and freedom to worship in it. (May we not take this for granted. And may God grant us more time!)
- I saw all my kids and grandkids on the last day of the year 2009. What a blessing. All were safe and healthy and most of all, they all love God and are seeking to serve Him. What a great way to end to the year.

- When a missionary is going to learn a foreign language, he works diligently hour after hour. he needs a teacher who know the language. If we are going to understand the speaking of Christ, we must permit the Holy Spirit to teach us. In Christ there is all we need for redemption, grace, power, deliverance, and victory."
