My grandmother is so old school, bless her heart. She put my grandfather in a nursing home about two years ago and is used to living on her own. She goes to visit him and bring him treats everyday. She is almost like the US Postal Service. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining, sleeting or snowing, she is going to see her husband. It is very sweet, but at the same time, nerve-wracking for the rest of the family because she is getting older and frail. We get worried about her being on the road by herself like that. We also get worried about her being home by herself too. My husband and I live the closest to her and decided we wanted to pay for her to get a security system installed in her house for our peace of mind. After a quick search on the internet for a HOMe Alarm we decided on one and had it installed. Surprisingly, Grandma learned how to use it pretty quickly. She will still be the first one to tell you that she doesn’t need it, but I think she secretly likes it.
